MSI S2201b Solid State Drive Configuration Guide
The MSI S2201b is a single processor server with possibilities for 24x 2.5"/3.5" SSD bay configuration. The S2201b supports the following types of SSDs: SAS, SATA, or U.2 NVMe. The SSDs capacity can range from 120GB
to 18TB and speeds up to 3GB/s to 6GB/s depending on wether you, the
consumer choose: SAS, SATA, or NVMe SSDs. The Maximum capacity the MSI S2201b can offer
physically is 24x18TB SSDs. It is not advisable to mix the types of drives
as the server will run inconsistent due to SSD drive speeds. If you want
to maximize the capabilities of the MSI S2201b, choose one type
of Solid State Drives to maintain consistency when running your server nodes.
