Dell PowerEdge R6415 Network Interface Controller Configuration Guide

Dell PowerEdge R6415 nic Config The R6415 is a AMD Processor server with possibilities for up to two Network Interface controllers ports on the back panel from the motherboard with speeds of 1GbE. The NIC speeds for the Dell PowerEdge R6415 are, 1GbE, 8GbE, 10GbE up to 100GbE if using a network card through the PCIe slot or the mezzanine card with the LOM slot offered. Only PCIe NICs and mezzanine cards are accepted on the R6415. RJ45, SFP+, SFP, Fiber Channel, SFP28, and QSFP28 are the interface types the Dell PowerEdge R6415 can have. Fibre channel cards are also possible in the R6415, and provide the fastest transfer speeds. NIC cards can come with a metal bracket or not, make sure you choose your option correctly. Some Network cards might have two variations, a low-profile variation and a full-height variation, which is based on the physical size of the card.
