Dell PowerEdge R450 Network Interface Controller Configuration Guide
The R450 is a Intel Processor server with possibilities for up to 2 Network Interface controller port on the back panel from the motherboard with speeds of 1GbE RJ45. The NIC speeds for the Dell PowerEdge R450 are, 1GbE, 8GbE, up to 25GbE if using a network card through the PCIe slot expansion or an OCP 3.0 card. Only PCIe NICs and OCP 3.0 cards are accepted on the R450. RJ45, SFP+, SFP28 is the interface type the Dell PowerEdge R450 can have. NIC cards can come with a metal bracket or not, make sure you choose your option correctly. Some Network cards might have two variations, a low-profile variation and a full-height variation, which is based on the physical size of the card.
