The Asus EG520-E11-RS6-R is a server with configuration of 6x 2.5" SSDs. This Asus EG520-E11-RS6-R supports the following types of solid state drives: SATA and NVMe. The capacities supported by this server range from 120GB to 15.36TB and offers speeds of 3GB/s, 6GB/s and 16GT/s, depending on the type of solid state drive. The max capacity configuration available for this server is 2x 15.36TB NVMe plus 4x 7.68TB SATA. It is not advisable to mix the types of drives as the server will run inconsistent due to SSD drive speeds. If you want to maximize the capabilities of the Asus EG520-E11-RS6-R, choose one type of Solid State Drives to maintain consistency when running your server nodes.

Speed of drives for the Asus EG520-E11-RS6-R server range from: 3GB/s to 6GB/s for SATA, and 16GT/s for NVMe U.2.

SAS drives are not Supported.

There is 1 type of Asus EG520-E11-RS6-R chassis from a storage perspective: 2x 2.5" SATA/NVMe U.2 hot-swap drive bays plus 4x 2.5" SATA hot-swap drive bays on rear plane.
