HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen12 SSD Configuration Guide
The DL380 Gen12 is a dual Processor server with possibilities for 8 or 12 x 3.5" SAS/SATA drives,
8, 16 or 24 x 2.5" SAS/SATA/NVMe or 20x EDSFF E3.S NVMe Solid State Drives.
For all variants we can add an extra 2 or 6 x 2.5" drives at the back of the DL380 Gen12.
The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen12 supports 3 types of SSDs: SATA, SAS, and NVMe U.2/U.3 SSDs, which can range from sizes 240 GB
to 15.36 TB and speeds from 3GB/s to 24GB/s, or 16GT/s for NVMe depending on whether you, the consumer choose SAS, SATA or NVMe SSDs.
Maximum capacity the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen12 can offer physically is 20x 15.36TB SSDs with 16GT/s NVMe EDSFF SSDs.
