Dell PowerEdge R6525 Network Interface Controller Configuration Guide
The R6525 is a AMD Processor server with possibilities for up to 2 Network Interface controller port on the back panel from the motherboard with speeds of 1GbE RJ45. The NIC speeds for the Dell PowerEdge R6525 are, 1GbE, 8GbE, up to 25GbE if using a network card through the PCIe slot expansion or an OCP 3.0 card. Only PCIe NICs and OCP 3.0 cards are accepted on the R6525. RJ45, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP28, QSFP56, Fiber channel is the interface type the Dell PowerEdge R6525 can have. NIC cards can come with a metal bracket or not, make sure you choose your option correctly. Some Network cards might have two variations, a low-profile variation and a full-height variation, which is based on the physical size of the card.
